Fact: I was black today!
Today was CRAZY! But of course it was CRAZY WONDERFUL! First I got up and was SO tired for who knows what reason...then Sorena let me take the van to get some last preparations for Miss Salem done. I was supposed to get a spray tan but of course the tanning booth broke right as I got in in. Just My Luck:) So I skipped that process and got my nails re-done. There is nothing better than spending time and some money on yourself to feel pretty:) Luckily I did not end up going into work for 2 reasons.....It was during the only spray tan appointment open for days in Utah County......and second after the spray tan I turned black! Seriously and no JOKE whatsoever. I experienced life as a different ethnicity. I was so freaky looking that everyone made a comment about of dark it was....and finally when I saw and my little ones, Nico and Drewbie were scared of me. Nico kept looking at me weird and finally said "Are you Jo? Because you don't look like her" I love the thoughts that little ones have!
I also got to see my momma she gave me some preparatory tools for Miss Salem!!! AHHHHHH!!! It is so close! In 2 days!!! I feel ready...somewhat discouraged about placing but I am sure EVERY girl feels that way! Cute Sarah Alanis cut my music, gave me tips and even offered some of her dresses. I love that girl and I missed her! I CAN'T wait!!! tomorrow is dress rehearsal!
Also Bri graduated yesterday! so exciting and so weird! I now have a married "sister" and a graduated "sister" and all the other ones had their last day of school and brought home video yearbooks that have been playing NON stop:) infact one is playing this very second! ITS SUMMER!!!
Well I am on my final countdown until I can shower this so called "race change" off:)
